# Rafy — Frequently Asked Questions > Rafy is a self-tape studio built by actors, for actors. Available on iOS, Android and web. ## What is Rafy? Rafy is a self-tape studio built by actors, for actors. It brings everything you need to prepare and record an audition into one app: a scene partner on demand, a teleprompter, self-tape recording, and tools to package and share your final tape. Rafy is available on iOS, Android and web. ## Who is Rafy for? Any actor preparing a self-tape audition, from students learning the format to working professionals submitting tapes on tight deadlines. If you've ever needed to run lines at midnight with no one around to read opposite you, Rafy is built for that moment. ## Can Rafy's readers replace a real scene partner? No, and that's not the goal. Rafy's readers are a scene partner on demand: there when you need to rehearse or record and no one else is available. They're built to make practice and self-tape submissions easier, not to replace working with a real reader or director when you have one. ## Is my script safe with Rafy? Your scripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. Nothing you create is used to train AI models. Uploaded material is processed only to run the features you use, such as extracting your dialogue and generating reader audio. See the [Privacy Policy](https://rafy.app/privacy) for the full detail. ## How much does Rafy cost? Plans start at **$9.99/month** ($99/year) for Basic, which includes 10 scenes per month with unlimited takes. **Plus** is $14.99/month ($149/year) for 20 scenes per month, and **Premium** is $24.99/month ($249/year) for 50 scenes per month.
